1. Zero Card Data Retention Policy
KateDeal adheres to a strict Zero Payment Data Retention standard. When you submit payment card information on katedeal.com:
- Your credentials are encrypted directly in your browser using 256-bit TLS/SSL cryptographic tunnels and routed immediately to Tier-1, PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant financial acquiring systems.
- Neither our staff nor our server databases ever see, store, or process raw 16-digit card numbers, expiration dates, or 3-digit CVV/CVC security codes.
- We only receive an encrypted authorization token and an anonymized transaction receipt identifier from the banking network to confirm order clearance.
2. 3D-Secure 2.0 (3DS2) Authentication
To eliminate unauthorized card usage and prevent online payment fraud, all card transactions pass through 3D-Secure 2.0 protocols. Depending on your issuing bank, you may be prompted to authenticate your transaction via your mobile banking app, push notification, or an SMS one-time security passcode.
3. Multi-Currency Settlement
KateDeal accommodates customers worldwide by supporting primary transaction currencies:
- United States Dollar (USD – $): Standard benchmark currency for international orders.
- Euro (EUR – €): European Union transaction currency.
- Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH – ₴): Native transaction currency for regional orders placed through the `/ua/` storefront.
If your payment card is issued in a different currency, your bank will perform automated currency conversion at their standard daily exchange rates.
4. Invoicing, Receipts & Order Confirmation
Immediately upon successful transaction clearance, an official digital commercial invoice containing itemized product specifications, applicable taxes, shipping fees, and transaction reference numbers is generated and dispatched to your billing email. This invoice serves as proof of purchase for warranty coverage and customs declaration verification.
5. Payment Support & Inquiries
If you encounter a declined transaction, connection timeout, or require B2B commercial invoice generation for institutional wire orders, please contact our billing department at [email protected].
