Buyer Protection & Quality Guarantee
KateDeal Buyer Protection & Order Safeguards
Shopping on an international multi-category marketplace requires trust, predictable logistics, and transactional security. The KateDeal Buyer Protection Program is an integrated framework designed to protect global buyers and honest merchants, ensuring that qualifying transactions across our platform are safeguarded from checkout through delivery.
1. Verified Supplier Network
All manufacturers, artisanal studios, and commercial vendors onboarded to KateDeal undergo identity verification, commercial compliance checks, and catalog quality screening.
2. Secure Payment Processing
Payments are processed via licensed Tier-1 payment gateways using 256-bit SSL encryption. Vendor disbursements are governed by order fulfillment verification.
3. Transit Logistics Protection
Outbound consignments carry transit protection against carrier loss or severe structural shipping damage, supported by formal carrier claims procedures.
4. Structured Dispute Resolution
Clear protocols to investigate damaged, non-delivered, or materially discrepant goods with fair, verified resolution pathways.
When Does Buyer Protection Apply?
You may initiate a case under the KateDeal Buyer Protection Program under the following specific conditions:
- Non-Receipt of Consignment: Your package has not arrived within the stated maximum transit window, and carrier telemetry confirms the parcel as lost or missing.
- Physical Damage in Transit: The exterior carton and internal contents sustained visible physical damage during courier carriage (properly documented with unboxing photos/video within 48 hours of receipt).
- Material Specification Discrepancy: The delivered product materially differs in model, fundamental dimensions, core material grade, or functional specifications from what was published on the product listing.
- Initial Arrival Defect (DOA): An item arrives in non-functional, broken, or inoperative condition from the factory, reported within the initial inspection window upon delivery.
Claims & Dispute Resolution Procedure
To ensure thorough evaluation and protect against fraudulent claims, disputes follow an objective investigation protocol:
- Submit a Case: Contact our resolution desk at [email protected] quoting your Order ID, detailed description of the issue, and visual evidence (clear photos of the shipping label, packaging, and affected product, or video demonstration of the operational issue).
- Investigation Window: Our logistics and product verification teams investigate the claim alongside carrier telemetry and vendor documentation within 2 to 4 business days.
- Approved Resolution Pathways: Upon formal verification of a valid claim, Platform Administration will authorize the appropriate remedy:
- Authorized return-for-repair or replacement unit dispatch according to warranty guidelines.
- Partial reimbursement (where minor cosmetic imperfections or non-critical variances are agreed with the buyer).
- Full or partial refund processed back to the original payment method within standard clearing timelines (5 to 14 business days).
Protection Against Fraudulent Claims
The Buyer Protection Program is designed to safeguard bona fide purchasers. Platform Administration actively audits claims for abuse. Claims involving staged damage, intentional tampering, swapped products, or false non-delivery reports when tracking indicates successful delivery will be denied, and associated accounts will be permanently suspended from the marketplace.
